Randall, Harry Wayland, Jr. b. December 20, 1913, Spokane, Washington; father Harry W. Randall, mother Frances E. Randall; Graduated from Grant High School in 1934 and attended Reed College 1933-34; Single; Photographer and Motion Picture Worker, was unemployed when he volunteered for Spain; CP August 1936 and YCL 1934, New Theater League, Washington Commonwealth Federation, Film and Photo League; Received Passport# 27850, San Francisco series, on May 11, 1937 which listed his address as NYC, and 3344 Northeast 30th Street, Portland, Oregon; Sailed June 12, 1937 aboard the Georgic; Arrived in Spain via Setcases on June 30, 1937; Trained with Mackenzie-Papineau BN, Co. 2; Served with the XV BDE, Transmissions for one week; BDE Estado Mayor, Photographer, Section leader; Rank Sargento; Served at Fuentes de Ebro, Teruel, Segura de los Baños, Retreats (Belchite-Caspe and Batea-Gandesa), and Ebro Offensive (Sierra Pandols, Sierra Caballs); Returned to the US on December 20, 1938 aboard the Ausonia; WWII Canadian Army, served in England making newsreels with the Film and Photo Unit; d. November 11, 2012, Snowflake, Arizona, buried in Mountain Shadow Cemetery, Sonora, Tuolumne County, California; Wife Doreen Randall (married August 17, 1957).
