Hernádez del Valle, Pedro b. April 24, 1897, Isabela, Puerto Rico; Puerto Rican; Father Pedro Hernández Villanueva; Mother Cristina del Valle Hernández, both Puerto Ricans; Went to Spain in 1930 to study medicine then in 1935 he continued his studies at the University of Chicago; Medical Doctor; Domicile Bo. Mora. Isabela, Puerto Rico and Spain; Returned to Spain in 1935; Helped organize the Republican blood service; Served with the 8° Young Guard (Joven Guardia), Sanidad, Teniente; Returned to the Puerto Rico on November 22, 1936 aboard the Saint Dominique; Was a Doctor in Isabela, Puerto Rico.
