January 16, 1915, Wheelwright, Worcester, Massachusetts; Lithuanian American; Father Frank Mazurka 1893-?), mother Marcella Mazurka (1892-?); High School education; Single; Interior Decorator; Steel worker (CIO 1936); YCL 1937; Received Passport# 4121 Boston series on March 11, 1937 which listed his address as 47 Oread Street, Worchester, Massachusetts, and New York; Sailed March 17, 1937 aboard the President Roosevelt; Arrested in France at Toulouse on April 4, 1937; Arrived in Spain May 25, 1937; Served with the XV BDE, Mackenzie-Papineau BN; In the fall of 1937 was with the British BN; WIA during summer of 1937; Killed in action February 16, 1938, Levant; France returned his Passport to the US Embassy in April 1938, it was seized by the authorities.
