Greenspoon, Arthur b. January 26, 1920, Bayonne New Jersey; Jewish; High school education; Airplane Mechanic; YCL 1935, unit organizer; Received Passport# 365112 on February 3, 1937 which listed his address as 350 East 13th Street, NYC; Sailed February 10, 1937 aboard the Washington; Arrived in Spain on February 24, 1937; Trained with the 1st BN of Instruction at Tarazona; noted as irresponsible and deserting to Paris, returned to Spain via Espolla on August 21, 1937, and Served with the Auto Park as of January 1938; later 1st Regiment de Tren; Returned to the US on April 10, 1938 aboard the President Harding; WWII US Marine Corps, SGT; d. January 4, 1983, Bexar, Texas, buried Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio, Texas.
