Gorostiaga, Dimitri (Dimitrio); b. October 9, 1909 (or September 10); Filipino; Office Worker; Domicile Mexico (?), lived in China and noted an address in the Phillipines as his ultimate destination, 250 Concepcion, Manila; Arrived in Spain on December 15, 1937; Served with the XV BDE, BDE MG Company; Lincoln-Washington BN, Co. 5; Interpreter; Rank Soldado; Served at the Ebro Offensive, Gandesa operations; WIA August 1, 1938 during a night attack on fascist lines; Spent 45 days in hospital in Barcelona #2 Vich; Incarcerated in the the French Concentration Camp Argeles-sur-Mer in March-April 1938; In the camp he was placed with the "Group Sur Americaine"; Indicated that he wanted to got Mexico after the war; Most likely he was living in Mexico before joining the International Brigades; Returned to Spain and was jailed; Spoke Spanish and English.
