November 8 (18), 1907, Centropolis, Kansas; High School education; Single; Musician and Teacher; CP 1932; Received Passport# 406885 on May 7, 1937 which listed his address as 1923 Southeast Ankey Street, Portland, Oregon (Irrigon, Oregon); Sailed June 5, 1937 aboard the Lancastria; Arrived in Spain via Espolla on June 20, 1937; Served with the XV Brigade, Mackenzie-Papineau Battalion; Returned to the US on October 25, 1938 aboard the Ile de France; d. September 15, 2007.
