September 30, 1915, NYC; father Isidor Jacob Ehrlich (1886-1970), mother Sadie Lichtenberg (1885-1964); Single; CP March 1936, YCL March 1935, Spanish CP; Received Passport# 364678 on February 1, 1937 which listed his address as 196 Waverly Place, NYC; Sailed February 6, 1937 aboard the Paris; Arrived in Spain on February 14, 1937; Served with the XV BDE, Lincoln BN; MG Co.; also served in Transport; Control Comm. of the IB (SIM); Rank Sargento; Served at Jarama and Brunete; WIA Jarama or Brunete; Repatriated medial and family issues; Returned to the US on March 9, 1938 aboard the Antonia; Changed his last name to Young in 1939;  Married Charlotte Young in 1939; Was also married to Gladys Alyce Herman (1922-2002) and Miriam Fishback (1913-2012); WWII Armed forces, enlisted November 13, 1943, discharged October 16, 1945; d. April 19, 1992, Las Vegas, Nevada. Siblings: sisters Rose Ehrlich (1907-?), Florence Ehrlich (1921-?).
