February 20, 1887, Izola/Isola d’Istria, present day Slovenia; To the US 1926; South Slav; Father Giovanni Drioli, mother Cecilia (Degrassi) Drioli; Union organizer; CP; To Spain January 1937; Served with the XV BDE, Lincoln BN; Transferred to the Garibaldi Battalion; Killed in action in April 1937 on the Madrid front.
