Abate, Erasmo (Hugo Roland); b. February 15, 1895, Formia, Italy; Italian American; Parents Alfonso and Annita Scarpato; Artist and Publicist; CP or Anarchist; Active in Italy during the post-war period, sought after he left in 1923 for France and later the US; the only news about his presence in Spain during the war comes from the “dall’Ufficio Cifra” (Cifra Office).
