August 1, 1903, Ciales, Puerto Rico; To Spain in 1908; Puerto Rican; Father Manuel Antonio Fernández Vega, Puerto Rican, mother Tomasa Valdés, from Spain; Studied Medicine; Married with 4 children; Medical Doctor; Domicile Andújar, Spain; Served with the Republican Popular Army, Sanidad, Teniente; Arrested after the war and was a prisoner in Andújar, Jaén; Returned to the US on August 18, 1941 aboard the Exter, then to Puerto Rico aboard Coamo; d. March 1985, Ciales, Puerto Rico.
