April 13, 1913 (December 18, 1913) Montauro, Province of Catanzaro, Italy; To the US circa 1930 to join Father in Philadelphia; Naturalized citizen through his Father; Italian American; Father Gregorio Fulginiti, mother Rosina (Squittacciotti) Gulginiti; Married (Single); Cook and Maritime Worker; CP 1934 and YCL 1930; Received Passport# 403869 on May 3, 1937 which listed his address as 60th Street and Mark’s Place, and 311 East 12th Street, both NYC; Sailed May 7, 1937 aboard the American Farmer; Arrived in Spain on June 6, 1937; Served with the 86th BDE; WIA October 1937; Later with 129th BDE; Returned to the US on December 20, 1938 aboard the Ausonia; Returned to the US on certificate of identity no. 118; WWII US Army, Rank Tech Sergeant 5; d. October 24, 1996; Buried in Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, New York; Francesco had only been in the US for a short time before he left for Spain; Spoke English, Spanish and Italian.
