CP November 1936; Received Passport# 17 Winnipeg series on April 10, 1937 which listed his address as 363 8th Street, Springfield, Oregon (Calgary); Arrived in Spain on May 27, 1937; Served with the XV BDE, Mackenzie-Papineau BN, Co. 1; Rank Cabo; Served at Fuentes de Ebro, Teruel, Seguro de los Baños, Retreats (Azuuaia, Caspe, Gandesa, Ebro), Ebro Offensive (Cruz Ebro, Sierra Pandols, Sierra Caballs); Returned to the US on December 15, 1938 aboard the Paris; d.
