Galuni, Luigi b. November 21, 1898, Antrodoco, Province of Rieti, Italy; To US unknown date; Italian American; Father Tommaso Galuni; Mechanic; Republican; Domicile New York; To Spain April 1937; Initially worked in the office of the IB in Albacete; Later to Garibaldi Brigade, 1st Battalion; Served at Huesca and Brunete; Returned to the US in October 1937; Member of the Società Mazzini of New York; WWII; In 1941 was sent to India to organize an Italian legion from prisoners of war; Later given the choice to join the British Army or to be locked up in a concentration camp, he opted for internment.
