Del Bianco, Gastone b. October 9, 1898, Massa Carrara, Italy; To the US on January 5, 1921, aboard the SS Pesare; Naturalized in 1940; Italian American; Father Armando Del Bianco, mother Maria Del Bianco (1878-?); Single; Stone Cutter; CP 1936; Sailed September 16, 1937 aboard the Aquitania; Arrived in Spain on February 10, 1937; Served with the XV BDE, Lincoln-Washington BN, Rank Soldado, later with the 45th Division, Fortifications BN (Engineers); Reported MIA during the Retreats; He left Spain in February 1939 and was detained in a French Concentration camp; Returned to the US on March 3, 1939 aboard the Manhattan; Married Margaret Candita Chapello (1909-2003) on April 8, 1944, Folton, Ohio; d. 1954, Cleveland, Ohio, buried in a crypt in Highland Park Cemetery, Cleveland, Ohio.
