September 2, 1916, East Orange, New Jersey; Jewish; Never in Spain; Single; Domicile 5 Irving Street, East Orange, New Jersey; Sailed August 22, 1938 as a stowaway aboard the Normandie; Arrested and imprisoned in France for 2 months and then returned to the US; Was traveling with Vernold Masten Beebe, James Garrett, Marshall Hartzell, Willam Joseph Holland, Walter B. Iczek, Bernard Kaplan, Israel Luckonick, David Parker, Henry Louis Ulanoff, and John W. White; Returned to the US on October 25, 1938 aboard the Ile de France; WWII US Army, and Korean War, rank SFC, received the Bronze Star Medal; d. August 10, 1956, East Orange, Essex County, New Jersey, buried in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, Morris County, New Jersey.
