May 9, 1902, Mayagüez, Puerto Rico; To Spain May 1914 with family; Puerto Rican; POW; Father Eduardo González Fernández, mother Andrea Rodríguez, both from Spain; Industrial Engineer; Domicile Vigo, Spain; Served in the Republican Popular Army, XV Corps, 35th Division, 196th Mixed Brigade; Captured January 23, 1939, Villanueva and Geltru, Barcelona Province and held at San Pedro de Cardeña; Returned to the US on April 22, 1946 aboard the Magallanes; His final destination was Puerto Rico; He did not speak English.
