January 11, 1906, Waldo, Kansas; Graduated from Citrus High School in La Verne, California then attended La Verne College for 2 years; No prior military service; Single; Actor (bit player in Hollywood), Newspaper Journalist, and Carpenter; CP 1935, paid functionary; Received Passport# 81155, San Francisco series, on August 19, 1937 which listed his address as 2742 Hollyridge Drive, Los Angeles, California (1226 Oxford, Los Angeles, California); Sailed September 1, 1937 aboard the Aquitania; Arrived in Spain via Setcases on September 13, 1937; Served with the XV BDE, Lincoln-Washington BN, Co. 3, October 1937-January 1938; Transferred to BDE Special MG Co., January 20, 1938 and served through March 15, 1938; Moved to the Mackenzie-Papineau BN briefly then rejoined the Special MG Co. from April 15 through June 25, 1938; Transferred to Lincoln-Washington BN, MG Co. from June 25, 1938 until September 23, 1938; Rank Soldado; WIA September 23, 1938 on Hill 287; Returned to the US on December 15, 1938 aboard the Paris; WWII US Army, PTO, Borneo and the Philippines, Rank Tech SGT 4; d. July 6, 1998, South Lake Tahoe, California.
