August 3, 1909, Chelsea, Massachusetts; Jewish; Attended Grafton Street Junior High School; Single; CP 1932; Domicile 25 Woodford Street, Worcester, Massachusetts; Sailed March 10, 1937 aboard the Washington; Served with the XV BDE, Lincoln BN; Served at Jarama; WIA in chest, contracted typhoid in hospital and was repatriated; Returned to the US July 8, 1937 aboard the Manhattan; d. December 31, 1984, Worcester, Massachusetts, buried in B’nai Brith Cemetery, Worcester, Massachusetts; Daughter Ellen Margaret Grossman.
