July 19, 1911; Jewish; Single; Driver; CP 1934 and YCL 1934; Domicile 596 Macy Avenue, Brooklyn, New York; Arrived in Spain on February 17, 1937; Served with the XV Brigade, Lincoln Battalion; Co. 2, Section 2, Group 2; Served at Jarama and Brunete; Released by the battalion; Repatriation to conform to policy; Returned to the US on September 24, 1937 aboard the De Grasse.
Sibling: brothers Joe Herschkowitz and Sam Hershkowitz.
