July 29, 1914, Rochester, New York; Jewish; 4 years Cornell University but did not graduate; ROTC 1931-32; Single; Painter and Electrician; CP June 1935, Section organizer and Secretary; Received Passport# 374541 on March 13, 1937 which listed his address as 67 Nassau Street, Rochester, New York; Sailed March 31, 1937 aboard the Aquitania; Arrived in Spain on April 21, 1937; Served with the XV Brigade, Washington Battalion; Transferred to the Artillery, 11th Regiment, 2nd Group, 14th Battery (John Brown Battery), 155mm Guns; Returned to the US on February 4, 1939 aboard the President Harding; WWII Armed forces; d. October 19, 1999.
