December 15, 1908, Seattle, Washington; Single (Married); Laborer and CP functionary; CP 1930 district organizer (attended Lenin School 1932-34); Received Passport# 27534, San Francisco series, on May 5, 1937 which listed his address as 1529 West 32nd Street; Seattle, Washington; Sailed June 30, 1937 aboard the Aquitania; Arrived in Spain via Massanet on July 11, 1937; Served with the XV BDE, Estado Mayor, Observations; Rank Cabo; Promoted to Adjutant to XV Brigade Commissar with rank of Captain on September 30, 1937 by Dave Doran; Returned to the US on December 15, 1938 aboard the Paris, on certificate No. 16-858; d. February 1993, Chicago, Illinois.
