January 7, 1914, New York; 1 year prior military service; Graduated from Stanford University 1935; Single; Journalist; CP April 14, 1936, Unit Organizer; Received Passport# 6336, New York series, in February 1937 which listed his address as 218 East 15th Street, NYC, and 1247 Cowae Street, Palo Alto, California; Arrived in Spain on March 25, 1937; Served with the 1st Regiment de Tren; Returned to the US on October 1, 1938 aboard the Paris; d. December 16, 2012, Forestville, Sonoma, California.
