October 22, 1905, Lake George, Minnesota (April 27, 1916, St. Louis, Missouri; November 22, 1905, Lake George); Finnish American; Driver and airplane mechanic; CP; No Passport issued; Domicile Rt. 1, Box 790-A, Duluth, Minnesota; Arrived in Spain September 30, 1937; Served with the XV BDE, Mackenzie-Papineau BN; WIA October 15, 1938 at Fuentes de Ebro, after recovery served as driver in Lincoln-Washington BN, Transport, and BDE, Estado Mayor, Auto Park/Transport, driver, Rank Soldado November 23, 1937.  Served at Teruel, Segura de los Baños, Retreats, and Ebro Offensive; Returned to the US on a certificate of identity 887, on December 15, 1938 aboard the Paris; WWII US Army Air Corps; Married Myrtle Theese Lane (1910-1992) on December 27, 1947, Black Earth, Wisconsin; d. October October 17, 1975, Black Earth, Wisconsin (September 21, 2007, San Diego, California).
