January 9, 1906, Galveston, Texas; POW; Attended University of Washington; Married; Student and Teacher’s assistant; Received Passport# 492475 on January 11, 1938 which listed his address as 4536 55th Avenue NE, Seattle, Washington; Sailed February 10, 1938; Arrived in Spain via Agullana on February 15, 1938; Served with the XV BDE, Lincoln-Washington BN; Rank Soldado; Reported MIA Retreats, Gandesa; Captured; Exchanged April 22, 1939; Returned to the US May 6, 1939 aboard the President Harding; WWII Tech-4 in the US Army, Anti-Aircraft Artillery in Los Angeles, received a Good Conduct Medal March 22, 1944 and a Bronze Star on July 14, 1944; d. January 18, 1946, Los Angeles, California, buried in Los Angeles National Cemetery.
