Wynne; Cook; Received Passport# 492330 on January 10, 1938 which listed his address as 150 Arlington Street, West Medford, Massachusetts; Arrived in Spain via Massanet on February 10, 1938; Trained at Tarazona, transferred March 29, 1938 to the 45th Division, DECA; XV BDE, Lincoln-Washington BN, Co. 3; Later MG Co.; Rank Soldado; Deserted at Gandesa and attempted to reach France, was arrested and spent two months in Casteldefelss, then to 35th Division’s Fortification Battalion; Requested to return to the XV Brigade and served with cooks; Returned to the US on December 15, 1938 aboard the Paris; WWII and Korea, US Army, Master Sergeant; d. September 9, 1988, Peaks Island, Cumberland County, Maine, buried in Pond Grove Cemetery, Peaks Island, Maine; Wife Therese Boccard Wynne.
