June 28, 1916, Idaho; Jewish; Student; CP (No political affiliation); Received Passport# 489724 on December 18, 1937 which listed his address as 17 Clifton Street, Carrick, Pittsburg, Pennsylvania; Sailed on December 24, 1937 aboard the President Roosevelt; Arrived in Spain via Massanet on January 6, 1938; Served as a Radio Broadcaster for the Loyalist Government; Ran a bed and breakfast in Berkeley, California with wife Helen, and one son; d. May 1987; Spent ten years in Argentina and was fluent in Spanish.
