W. O.; Received Passport# 355916 on December 5, 1936 which listed his address as Kraft Farm, Toms River, New Jersey; Sailed December 26, 1936 aboard the Normandie; Arrived in Spain on January 2 (6), 1937; Served with the XV BDE, Lincoln BN; WIA in the hand February 24, 1937, in the trenches at Jarama; In hospital de Sangre, Munovar, and Alicante; Back for Brunete; Repatriated for political reasons; Arrived in the US on September 30, 1937 aboard the Normandie; Back to Spain on May 30, 1938; Served with the XV BDE, Lincoln BN, Co. 1, Section 1, Group 2, Group Commissar, Armorer; Repatriated; One of seven veterans who returned to Spain via Massanet on June 7, 1938; Lincoln-Washington BN, Co. 2; Rank Soldado; Served at Jarama, Brunete, and the Ebro Offensive; Returned to the US on December 20, 1938 aboard the Ausonia; WWII US Army, enlisted February 23, 1943; d.
