De Tren February 24, 1927 to October 16, 1937; Attended School for Political Commissars October 20, 1937 to January 11, 1938; Evacuation Group IB January 11, 1938 to June 13, 1938, and Army of the Ebro Sanidad; Administrator and Driver in charge of Transport June 13, 1938 to October 10, 1938; Rank Company Commissar (March 1937) and Battalion/Regimental Commissar (July 1937); Served at Guadalajara, Jarama, Brunete, Belchite, Quinto; Teruel, Extramadura, and Ebro Offensive; Returned to the US on December 20, 1938 aboard the Ausonia.
