Dion, Joseph Raymond b. December 7, 1908, Salem, Massachusetts; Prior military service US Navy 9 years; Single; Seaman and “Bum”; CP 1934; Received Passport# 402930 on May 3, 1937 which listed his address as 18 Canal Street (Bates Block), Lewiston, Maine, and NYC; Sailed May 7, 1937 aboard the American Farmer; Arrived in Spain on June 6, 1937; Served with the XV BDE, Mackenzie-Papineau BN; Returned to the US on August 13, 1938 aboard the President Roosevelt.
