October 12, 1914, Chicago, Illinois; Lithuanian-American; 9 years of school; Single; Laborer and Foundry Worker; CP 1931; Received Passport# 478402 on September 28, 1937 which listed his address as 308 Glenwood Avenue, South Beloit, Illinois; Sailed October 29, 1937 aboard the President Roosevelt; Arrived in Spain via Massanet on November 11, 1937; Served with the 35th Battery, 4th Group, Artillery, American AT section of 129th BDE; Served at Teruel and Levante; Returned to the US on February 4, 1939 aboard the President Harding; d. March 1978.
