December 7, 1994; Was romantically involved with Phil Detro in Spain; She nursed him after he was wounded until his death; Detro left her all his papers; She was arrested and imprisoned in Spain on unspecified charges; She left Spain on August 16, 1938 aboard the British Destroyer Hotspur; She arrived in the US on August 30, 1938 aboard the Aquitania; Married Harold Holmes Owen (1899-1966), son Jerome Temple (1930-2007); d. December 7, 1994, NYC, cremated.
