Clerico, Libertario b. January 18, 1889, Villustellone, Province of Turin, Italy; Italian American; Father Tommaso Clerico; Shopkeeper; Domicile US; Arrived in Spain in 1936; Served with the Column Italiana; Later with the 28th Division; After leaving Spain and crossing into France he was confined in Gurs; Turned over to fascist authorities and taken back to Italy in 1941; Imprisoned and assigned to internal exile; His sentenced was changed to “admonishment.”
