Priovolos, Louis Stephen. (ΠΡΙΟΒΟΛΟΣ, ΗΛΙΑΣ/ΛΟΥΗΣ; Iias; Privolos); b. June 5, 1886 (June 3, 1888, Galaxidi, Greece, to the US in 1907; Naturalized in Deming, New Mexico; Greek American; Father Steve Priovolos, Mother Aster Priovolos; Primary school education; US Army, 41st Regiment in WWI 1917-18 in France, re-enlisted July 2, 1921, discharged June 2, 1924, 34th Division, 133rd Infantry, Co. B. 8 or 10 years prior military service, rank SGT; Single; Seaman, Cook, and Restaurant Worker; CP 1927 (1928); Received Passport# 376948 on March 2, 1937 which listed his address as 517 East 14th Street, New York,  New York, and Minneapolis, Minnesota; (269 West 25th, NYC); 50 years old; Sailed March 12, 1937 aboard the Ile de France; Arrived in Spain on April 2, 1937; Served with an unspecified unit, in combat briefly; WIA; After recovery became a medical officer, Villa Paz, Cook; Served at Brunete; d. April 24, 1953, buried in Cypress Hills National Cemetery, Brooklyn, New York.
