Secundy, Louis. b. October 6, 1908, NYC; Jewish; Father Hyman Secundy, mother Jenny Secundy; 1 yr. High School; US Army, 7th Cavalry, Ft. Bliss, Texas, January to December 1926; Single; Iron Worker, Truck Driver, and CP Organizer among unemployed; CP June 1933; Received Passport# 6343, New York series, on February 23, 1937 which listed his address as 327 Livonia Avenue, Brooklyn, New York; Sailed March 10, 1937 aboard the Washington; Arrived in Spain on April 5, 1937; Served as Chief of Auto Park, Albacete; XV BDE Transport, after Retreats joined XV Brigade, Lincoln-Washington Battalion, Co. 1 as a private; In July 1938 he was serving in the Lincoln-Washington Battalion, Plana Mayor; Served at Quinto, Belchite, Fuentes de Ebro, Teruel, Seguro de los Baños, Retreats, and the Ebro Offensive; WIA July 29, 1938, Ebro Offensive, at Villalba by trench mortar, hit in right side lower part of back, in hospital Bonova July 30 to August 10, 1938 and Vich August 10 to August 17, 1938; Returned to the US on December 20, 1938 aboard the Ausonia; d. January 16, 1989.
