Biography

Micor, Bruno b. March 11, 1906, Muggia, Province of Trieste, Italy, To the US 1926, jumped ship in NYC; South Slav, POW; Father Michele Micor, mother Teresa (Baron) Micor; Cook and Blacksmith; Served with the Republican Army and captured at Gijon in October 1937; Prisoner San Pedro Cardeñas; Transferred to Italy in February 1939, where he was sentenced to internal exile first on the island of Tremiti and then Ventotene.
