June 4, 1914, Hile, Wisconsin; Russian American; Single; Factory Worker; No party affiliation; Received Passport# 256597 on February 24, 1937 which listed his address as Route 3, Box 492-A, Lisk Avenue, Dayton, Ohio; Sailed February 20, 1937 aboard the Ile de France; Arrived in Spain on March 6, 1937; Served with the XV BDE, George Washington BN, Co. 2; Released from the unit due to a total breakdown and was slated for repatriation on August 15, 1937; Sent to Tarazona; Later served with the XV BDE, Lincoln-Washington BN, Co. 1, Plana Mayor; Rank Soldado; Served at Brunete and Ebro Offensive; WIA July 28, 1938; Returned to the US on December 15, 1938 aboard the Paris; d. January 3, 1983, Dayton, Ohio, buried Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery, Dayton, Ohio.
