White, Milton (Morris), b. April 1, 1917, Cleveland, Cuyahoga County Ohio; Attended New York University 1936-37, Medical School; Single; Actor, Musician and Hospital Orderly; YCL 1932 (1931); Received Passport# 375434 on March 16, 1937 which listed his address as 1491 Lincoln Place, Brooklyn, New York (161 Grand Street, NYC); Sailed March 27, 1937 aboard the Paris; Arrived in Spain on April 14, 1937 (April 7, 1937); Served with the XV BDE, Mackenzie-Papineau BN, Co. 1, Sanitario in Tarazona; Transferred in September to Service Sanitaire; 45th Division; Noted as having posed as a battalion political commissar going from hospital to hospital then tried to desert over the border, caught and jailed in Barcelona and was till there as of January 1938; Served at Fuentes de Ebro, Teruel, Seguro de los BaƱos and the Ebro Offensive; WIA February 14, 1938 (Seguro) and July 26, 1938; Returned to the US on December 20, 1938 aboard the Ausonia. WWII Armed Forces; d. June 18, 1983, Woodmere, Nassau County, New York, buried New Montefiore Cemetery, West Babylon, Suffolk County, New York.
