Biography

Moll González, Francisco b. February 12, 1910 , San Juan, Puerto Rico; Puerto Rican; Father Francisco Moll Llorens, Spanish, and Mother María González, Puerto Rican; Actor and Graphic Artist; Domicile Barcelona, Spain; Before moving to Spain he lived in Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic for two years; After the death of his mother he moved with his father to Spain; Arrived in Spain on October 10, 1930 aboard the Magellanes; CP Catalan, CNT July 8, 1936; Served in the Durruti Column in Barcelona; Joined Army April 14, 1938; Served in the Republican Popular Army, 26th  Division, 121st Mixed  Brigade, 484 Battalion, Co. 1; WIA August 1938 at Mont Lec; Was at Ripoll with other American volunteers but had not received reentry documents by the end of the conflict; After crossing into France he was interred in the French Concentration camps of Argelès sur Mer and St. Cyprièn; FALB paid for the Moll brothers return; Returned to the US on March 30, 1939, aboard the Manhattan; Returned to Puerto Rico on May 1, 1939 aboard the Borinquen; d. March 2003, Colorado.
