Stamm, Morris. b. September 22, 1904, Ukraine; Russian/Ukrainian American, lived in Canada from 1912-16; 1 year High School; Single; Cabinet Maker; CP September 1928 and YCL 1928, S. D. 5 1⁄2 years D. C. Ohio 4 years; Received Passport# 25299, San Francisco series, on March 6, 1937 which listed his address as 3451 East 117th Street, Cleveland, Ohio; Sailed April 10, 1937 aboard the Rotterdam; Arrived in Spain on May 5, 1937; Served with the XV Brigade, Lincoln-Washington Battalion, Co. 1, later MG Co. and Post Office; Rank Soldado; Served at Quinto, Belchite, Teruel, Segura de los Baños, Retreats, and the Ebro Offensive; WIA September 4, 1937, Belchite; Returned to the US on December 31, 1938 aboard the President Harding; d. December 23, 2000, Beechwood, Ohio.
