Lutka, Paul. b. January 15, 1913, Chicago, Illinois; Completed grammar school and Coyne Electrical school; Prior military service US Army, 2nd Artillery, 1933-37; Married S. Julia Skobel (1912-1986), son Vladomir Lutka (1937-2011) and Valentina Demirdijian; Electrician and Packing House Worker; CP 1933 and YCL; Received Passport# 365147 on February 3, 1937 which listed his address as 1017 West Maxwell Street, and 1125 North Homan Avenue, both Chicago, Illinois; Sailed February 17, 1937 aboard the President Roosevelt; Arrived in Spain on March 7, 1937; Served with the Slavic Group, 1st Grupo Artillery Pesado, IIIa Battery, Heavy Artillery, 155mm guns, Rank Sargento; Served July 15, 1937 to August 5, 1937 Central Front and August 6, 1937 Southern Front; Returned to the US on February 4, 1938 aboard the President Harding; WWII civilian; d. August 8, 2002, Elmhurst, Du Page County, Illinois.
