December 11, 1897, Petrograd, Russia, naturalized August 24, 1935 at which time he formally changed his name to Paul Moore; Prior service in the U.S. Army and was assigned to Siberia during the Kerensky Government and remained in the Army until 1924, served in Manila and Chinwangtao, China; Laborer; CP 1936; Received Passport# 33405 on January 27, 1938 which listed his address as National Military Home, Sawtelle West Los Angeles, California, and Santa Monica, California; Arrived in Spain via Agullana on February 23, 1938; Served with the XV BDE, Lincoln-Washington BN; Rank Soldado; MIA April 3, 1938, Gandesa, during the Retreats.
