January 18, 1911, Minneapolis, Hennepin, Minnesota; Father Charles Rundgren (1873-), mother Hattie Rundgren (1883-); Roosevelt High School 1928; US Army, Minnesota National Guard, 151st Artillery, Battery F, joined 1927, 1 year, Rank Private; Single; Construction Worker; CP 1931 (1930) and Spanish CP, Farm Labor Party, Petroleum Workers Union CIO; Received Passport# 394668 on April 21, 1937 which listed his address as 108 East 1st Street, Duluth, and 4320 Minnehaha Street, Minneapolis, Minnesota; Arrived in Spain via Massanet on June 7, 1937; Served with the Artillery, 11th Regt., 2nd Group, 14th Battery (John Brown Battery), 155mm Guns, Telephonist and Observer; Served on the Extremadura and Toledo Fronts; Returned to the US on February 4, 1939 aboard the President Harding; Returned on Certificate of Identity #325 issued in Barcelona on January 19, 1939; WWII US Army, 71st Infantry Division, 5th Infantry Regiment, SGT; d. February 16, 1950, Suicide, buried in Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, Minnesota; Wife Beulah Eleanor Cedergren Rundgren (1911-1988), Daughter Sarah Rundgren (1940- 2011).
