Penino, Pedro. b.1907, Manila, Philippines; Filipino; Seaman; CP 1934; Single; Seaman (ISU); Received Passport# 47, Philippine Island series, on January 8, 1937 which listed his address as 524 Tayabas Street, Manila, Philippines, and 1072 Washington Street, San Francisco, California; Sailed January 16, 1937 aboard the Paris; Arrived in Spain on February 14, 1937; Served with the XV BDE, Lincoln BN, at Jarama; Deserted June 27, 1937 but returned on his own; Later XII BDE Auto Park for Brunete and Aragon; Then to Albacete Intendencia after September 12, 1937, working as an Electrician; Repatriated January 1938; WWII Served as a resistance leader in Philippines; Trained Huk Guerrillas (Tanay, Rizal); Killed in action 1945.
