November 4, 1904, Monterey, Mexico, To the US June 1915, Naturalized; Mexican American; Father Secundo Roel, mother Adela Jimenez; 3 years National Guard; Elementary school education; Single; Tin Mill Worker (Metalworker); Anti-Fascist; Domicile McKeesport, Pennsylvania (family in San Antonio, TX); Entered Spain on February 7, 1937; Arrived in Albacete on February 11, 1937; Served with the XV BDE, Lincoln-Washington BN, Served at Jarama, Brunete, Quinto, Belchite, Fuentes de Ebro, and Teruel; WIA Fuentes de Ebro; Rank Sargento; Was in Hospital Vich on 25 June 1938; Proposed for Party membership; Post-war married Alicia Bamos Ingalls (1901-1971); May have returned to Mexico with his wife.
