January 4, 1914, Hugo, Chactow County, Oklahoma; Father Walter Hotchkiss Lorraine (1871-1937), mother Deliah Victoria Mallard (1890-1970); Married Rosa Moselle Simons (1918-2004) on May 24, 1934 in Harris, Texas, daughter Sylvia Faith Lorraine (1935-1997); YCL 1937, section organizer; Received Passport #479423 on October 5, 1937 which listed his address as 1907 Studewood, Houston, Texas and 413 8th Avenue, NYC; Sailed October 9, 1937 aboard the Vollendam; Arrived in Spain on November 5, 1937; Served with the XV BDE, Lincoln-Washington BN; Rank Soldado; Reported MIA and presumed killed in action on April 3, 1938, Gandesa, during the Retreats. 
Siblings: sisters Ruth Kathryn Lorraine (1917-2000), Alsace Lorraine (1918-2003), Pat Elaine Lorraine (1920-2004).
