October 3, 1919; YCL 1936; Received Passport# 368586 on February 20, 1937 which listed his address as 3429 Oxawam Avenue, Chicago, Illinois; Sailed March 10, 1937 aboard the Washington; Served with the XV BDE, Washington BN; Served at Brunete; Wounded in action; Repatriated due to age and consular pressure; Returned to the US on September 12, 1937 aboard the Ausonia by way of Montreal, Canada; WWII Armed forces; State Department archives have an interesting series of letters; Letter from parents stating son in hospital from wounds; Reply confirmed he was in hospital and likely would be repatriated due to status as a minor. Revere went to Madrid Embassy to inquire about assistance in returning home, July 26, 1937 suffering from slight wound in elbow, Revere used the name Stephen F. Revere and stated he was born Oct. 3, 1915 Brooklyn, NY in order to obtain Passport; WWII PTO; d. August 1967; File includes copy of his birth certificate.
