Malbin, Virginia Covici. b. October 3, 1913, Chicago, Illinois; AMB; University of Chicago, graduated Phi Beta Kappa; Married to Barney Malbin; CP March 1935; Initially served as a social worker resettling orphans and displaced children; Returned to the US on September 27, 1937 aboard the Georgic; She returned to Spain arriving August 1, 1938, she assisted her husband; Returned to the US with her husband on February 2, 1939 aboard the Normandie; d. December 10, 2008, Portland, Oregon.
