McCuistion, William Coulter. (McQuistion); b. December 17, 1900, Paris, Lamar County, Texas; Possibly served in the US Navy during WWI; Single; Seaman (NMU); CP 1937; Received Passport# 377947 on March 24, 1937 which listed his address as 408 Daytona Street, Daytona, Florida; Sailed March 27, 1937 aboard the Paris; Arrived in Spain in April 1937; Served with the XV BDE, Washington BN; Deserted at Brunete after only one day in action; Sent to Tarazona, worked in the laundry; Later with the Service Sanitaire, Tarancon; WWII Seaman; Was part of the group of seamen who ripped the Nazi flag down from the Bremen.
