February 15, 1914, Poland; Polish American; National Guard, 121 Coastal Artillery, 1934-35; 3 years Evening High School; Married Irene Ross; Food worker, Drug Clerk; YCL 1933 and Spanish CP, Taxi Workers Union, TUUL, RILU; Domicile 237 West 16th Street, NYC; CP April 1936; Left for Europe February 15, 1937; Arrived in Spain March 9, 1937 over the Pyrenees; Served with the XV BDE; Lincoln and Lincoln-Washington BN (?); Rank Cabo, Political Commissar; Served at Jarama, Brunete, Quinto; Retreats (Belchite-Caspe and Batea- Gandesa); After Quinto transferred from BN to serve as Administrator of the Hospital at Villa Paz, was intended for repatriation but returned to Lincoln-Washington during Retreats.
