January 20, 1913, St. Louis, Missouri; Father William Bird Trogdon (1866-1918), mother Bessie Leach (1888-1945); Tool and die maker; No party affiliation, CIO; Received Passport# 404648 on May 4, 1937 which gave his address as 1433 Desterhan Street, St. Louis, Missouri (2310 Warren Street, St. Louis, Missouri; Sailed May 20, 1937 aboard the Berengaria; Arrived in Spain on May 30, 19037; Served in the Auto Park, Driver; Service Sanitaire, later Sagaro, Driver; Served at Huesca and Teruel; Returned to the US on December 15, 1938 aboard the Paris; WWII US Navy, stateside service; Wife Virginia Trogdon, son Philip Trogdon, daughter Carolyn Trogdon; Second wife (?) Marie Trogdon; d. April 20, 1960 of a heart attack in St. Louis, Missouri, buried in Bellefontaine Cemetery in St. Louis.
